FAQs about PCOD, Pregnancy and Delivery

                                Here i am posting common doubts which I got regarding pcod, pregnancy and delivery.  Clarified these by doctors and  with a lot of research. These question and answers may helpful for you.

1) Can a woman with pcod get healthy pregnancy ?

A) Yes 

2) Is there any risk in pregnancy with pcod?

A) No but care should be taken more and more to avoid obesity, gestational diabetes and  preterm labor.

3) Can pcod go away after delivery ? 

A) Yes. Everything depends upon our mindset, healthy lifestyle, good environment . Pcod is not a disease . It is only just hormone imbalance . 

4) How we know we have pcos ? 

A) Only through scanning we can know. Symptoms may vary from person to person.

5) Is there a cure for pcos? 

A) We can control through our healthy lifestyle . Pcos teach us self care. 

6) What is difference between pcod or pcos? 

A) Both are almost same. 

7) What are symptoms of Pcos ?

A) It may vary person to person. One of main symptoms are having irregular periods , troubling to get pregnancy , mood swings, fatigue. 

8) When to take pregnancy test at home?

A) One week after missing period for better result. 

9) What are early symptoms of pregnancy with pcod?

A) I don't have any symptoms but I have very positive feeling that I am pregnant. Don't see only physical symptoms. If we are really pregnant, universe will send message to us. 

10) Is it true pregnancy cures pcod ?

A) In some cases yes. 

11) Which vitamin deficiency cause pcod ?

A) Vitamin D. This is one of main causes of pcod.

12) Do regular periods cure pcod?

A) Can control . There are chances of getting pregnancy after three months periods regularize.

13) How long will it take time to get pregnancy with pcod ? 

A) Within one year. I sincerely tried and weight loss 13kgs , doctor advice, healthy lifestyle. It took me 10 months.

14) When to take scanning and tests during pregnancy? 

A) It depends upon. So follow only doctor advice.

15) Can pcos have normal delivery ?

A) Yes 

16) Can I have healthy baby with pcod ?

A) Yes 

17) Can pregnancy with pcod get gestational diabetes during pregnancy?  

A) No. Care should be taken. Decrease sugar,  jaggery  intake .

18) How much weight should gain during pregnancy?

A) 12 to 14kgs. I gained 13 kgs. Better should be in Normal BMI before pregnancy.

19) Is non vegeterian good for pcod?

A) No. 

20) Is dairy products good for pcod?

A) Limit the intake.

21) Is soya good for pcod?

A) No 

22) What protein powder to use ? 

A) Any one.

23) Can I drink tea in pcod diet?

A) yes.  one cup without sugar for fast results. I am tea lover. Maximum I avoided tea till I got pregnancy. In pregnancy period also I used to take very small amount with little sugar.

24) Is keto diet or intermittent fasting  good for pcod ?

A) No. Follow  doctor advice and which suits your body. 

25) Is mediation control pcod and get pregnancy?

A) Yes. In our brain from pituitary gland, hormones releases through spinal cord. In meditation we keep our back straight so spinal cord functions properly and brain relaxes during meditation so no stress or bad chemicals releases. Happy hormones releases and the process done properly . This leads to no extra male hormones releases.  So doing meditation we can control pcod and get healthy pregnancy, healthy baby.

My normal delivery experience

               When I came to know that I'm pregnant , that day itself I started to prepare for normal delivery. So I did meditation, walking, some exercises, diet , talk to baby, mantras, mudras.......                On August 16,2020; 39 weeks 6th day, contractions started lightly at 1am then I started walking slowly in room and slept for awhile. After 2:30am  I walked for 10 min and slept. Like this whenever I get discomfort , contractions I used to walk for 10 to 20 min and slept. This process repeated till 7 am. To get pregnancy what i followed

           Now im 32 years old. At the age 20 i got pcod . Since then suffering alot with irregular periods . Used many tablets to get periods regular and to get pregnancy. Totally depends on medicine. Finally one day i got realised . Started gradually changing my lifestyle. Sincerely focused on my dream and set my goals. Within 1year await was over. I became  pregnant by using Metformin , calcium, iron tablets and healthy lifestyle.  No hormone tablets and no follicular study. Got spontaneous pregnancy mean natural pregnancy.  What i followed to control pcod and to get pregnancy naturally :- Spend time in sunlight for atleast 30 min. Also be in moonlight for 1hour.  Walking for 1hour. Exercise for 10min. Meditation . Pranayama. Some yoga asanas. Surya namaskar, cat & cow pose, cobra pose, bow pose, child pose, mill churning pose, side plank, side-lying leg raises. Fight against pcod

                           Lets fight against pcod. Inorder to fight , first we have to understand the problem then analyse it.   Understanding pcod:                           First of all this is not a disease. Doctors can not say exact reason of getting pcod and there is no exact medicine to cure pcod. Then why all these Metformin , clomid , 21 days period tablets, progesterone  etc .Whats all these stuff we are  taking and facing again on getting another side effects. Why this is staying in our body .. what resources we are giving to pcod and helping to stay in our body happily. What challenges pcod giving us... Lets think.                       Today many women after puberty facing this problem.. I got at the age 20. I thought i am the one who got this problem too early.  Do you know some are getting at the age 11. On knowing this i am very sad. I have done lot of search ; how to tackle this problem. With my own  research & with my experience i am sharing here my views.
